Students are advised that due to the size and nature of the two practical courses in this programme, this programme cannot be completed on a part-time basis. To apply for this programme you will need to have successfully completed the Certificate of Christian Ministry or equivalent learning.
This qualification is designed for those students who have a real call of God on their lives for Christian ministry. It is designed to equip future church leaders and pastors with practical ministry skills, as well as broadening their knowledge in areas likely to be needed for church leadership. Students looking to move into Christian ministry would normally complete the Certificate in Christian Ministry - level 4 qualification before enrolling in the diploma. This qualification has 40 credits of academic content, and 80 credits of practical application, consisting of one 40 credit module in each semester. Students will have around 8 hours of classroom lectures, 20 hours of supervised practical work, and 4 hours of self study each week in this programme. The academic content is as follows:
