Focus on Leadership Development - Not basic discipleship, nor a purely academic orientation, our goal is to equip people to move into actual ministry. Students are trained in ministry areas and later in the year take services in local churches and may undertake a short-term missions trip (optional). Past students have gone into church planting and pastoring, overseas missions, eldership, ministries and other leadership positions.
Holy Spirit Ministry - Students will experience daily worship, focussed prayer and visiting prophetic ministry. The aim is that lives will be changed.
Quality Teaching - There are over 20 regular lecturers, the majority of whom are practising pastors or recognised specialists in certain areas (e.g. OT/NT specialist, theology specialist, registered counsellor, missionaries, etc.). Most have lectured for a number of years. In addition, there are a variety of guest lecturers.
Recognised Qualification - Not only is the qualification recognised by NZQA, but more importantly it is recognised by churches. The Elim, Apostolic and other movements have drawn pastors from graduates, and over 40 churches from many different denominations have supported the college by sending students to train.
